My publishers have asked me to start a blog, so I have. Hello!

My name is A.P Durston, and I am the author of a children's book, entitled The Land of No Food! I am an author, guitarist & songwriter located in South Wales, in the shadow of Caerphilly Castle (Europe's second largest).

THE LAND OF NO FOOD is a fantasy quasi-historical children's book, intended for ages 3-7. It is a loose account of the extinction of dragons from and the introduction of sheep into my home nation of Wales, both of which it is famous for.

The book is published by Austin McCauley publishing of London, Cambridge, New York, and Sharjah - UAE.

Loosely describing the plot, my story is set in Wales in the late neolithic to early bronze age. In the valleys, the people rely on slaying dragons in order to feed and clothe themselves. The principal hunter: Prince Durst, a Conan-esque Barbarian hero.

A man of the people, as the dragons grow scarce due to overhunting, he and his faithful dog voyage to a far off land, called Zitan, in search of sustenance for his people.

My editor informs me that Austin McCauley has found the book educational about traditional family values, parent protection & is most importantly an exciting read for children.
